Dr. Laurie Emery lives in Boca Raton with her husband Erick and 4 children, Antonio, Isabella, Hailey, and Alex. She began her career working in the Palm Beach county school system with children who had been through trauma, abuse and neglect. Later, she owned and ran a large group, child and family practice in Boca Raton, Florida.
Dr. Laurie has a belief that as a practitioner one can only take a client as far as they have gone. For this reason, she continues her own personal work while working with hundreds of clients in a private practice setting.
Combining therapeutic techniques and experiential healing work for clients, Dr. Laurie helps them to get to their core wounds and create the closure needed for clients to experience freedom.
She’s written for experiential training courses which foster real, transformational growth. Experiential therapy programs are not just one form of therapeutic intervention but a number of different types of therapy and therapeutic interventions designed to focus on actual involvement with different types of experiences, including emotional processing, interactions with others, creativity, and reflections of events that go beyond traditional “talk therapy”.
She is certified in Dr. Lukens' CICC™ and K-CICT™ methods and has been working in the plant medicine space for years.
Dr. Laurie does not believe people need to be in treatment talking year after year only to make incremental changes in their lives. Instead, she believes in going directly to the root of people’s internal struggles to create real, lasting healing. This is why she uses a combination of intuitive insight, experiential training, plant medicine and more. Supporting people to close the loop to unfinished, emotional situations so they can be free to live their life full out is her absolute commitment to people who want to live their best life. All of Dr. Laurie’s services, transformational coaching and programs, are designed to fill the clients’ tool box with tools that create real, long-lasting results for clients to live a fulfilled life.
