Amy Smith is a uniquely certified Grief Counselor and Core Issue Completion Coach. Having trained under David Kessler and Michael Lukens, she is highly qualified and exceptionally resourced to help clients navigate through the complex emotional turmoil of loss and grief. Her empathy, compassion, and kind-heartedness provide clients with a sense of connection and safety, enabling them to move through even the darkest of emotional states with grace.
Amy’s qualifications as a coach come not only from her training but deeper still, from her own experience of finding a life worth living after heart-shattering pain. In 2015, the unexpected death of her 20-year-old son sent Amy plunging into a psychological darkness that would take many years and much support from which to surface. Having barely come up for air, a few short years later her husband passed away, leaving Amy whole-heartedly committed to finding peace and answers within the inevitable suffering of human life and igniting within her a fierce passion for supporting others through the very same process of restabilization after foundational collapse, no matter what shape that takes.
“I have a deep understanding of the complexities of grief,” Amy says. “I am here to sit with you as you navigate the path of loss, helping you carry the weight of sorrow and pain while living well. My coaching practice is enriched by a wealth of knowledge and experience, ensuring you feel understood and supported on your journey.”
Beyond processing grief, Amy also supports clients in self-improvement, the cultivation of joy, transformation through change, and the strategic implementation of tools and strategies to help clients feel confident, empowered, and fulfilled as they work towards their goals and dreams. She always fosters a sense of balance in their lives, work, and relationships. She leads clients into a deeper self-understanding, helping them create unique and individualized pathways to each of their best and most vibrant lives.
